The Nepal Hand Surgery Society (NHSS), in collaboration with the National Trauma Centre, successfully conducted the Hand CME 2025 on March 22, 2025, at the National Trauma Centre, 7th Floor. The event served as a remarkable platform for medical professionals to explore the latest advancements in hand and lower limb osteoplastic reconstruction.

Dr. Sarah Tucker
Chief Plastic and Hand Surgeon, Oxford University (Keynote Speaker)
Sarah Tucker is a consultant plastic surgeon at Oxford University Hospitals specializing in upper and lower limb trauma. She has spent two years (2006-2008) living and working in Nepal.

Dr. David Izadi
UK Faculty
Dr David Izadi, Consultant Plastic and Hand Surgeon at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire. He is the education lead for plastic surgery in Warwickshire and a committee member of the Global Partnership Committee for the British Society for Surgery of the Hand.

Dr. Conrad Harrison
UK Faculty
Dr Conrad Harrison is an academic plastic surgery resident from Oxford University. Alongside his plastic surgery training, Conrad works as a postdoctoral researcher at the Surgical Intervention Trials Unit at Oxford University.

Yanni Tse
UK Faculty
Yanni Tse, is a senior hand therapist who was trained in New Zealand, before moving to London. She is an expert in the postoperative rehabilitation of patients who have suffered upper limb trauma.

Anychia Ramracheya
UK Faculty
Anychia Ramracheya is a senior hand therapist, who specializes in the post-operative care of patients who have had hand and upper limb trauma, with a special interest in hand stiffness. She works at Frimley Park NHS Trust, in London.

The CME revolved around the theme: “Advancing Hand and Lower Limb Osteoplastic Reconstruction: From Fractures to Functional Recovery.” The discussions covered:
- Latest surgical techniques in hand and lower limb reconstruction
