Day 1 of the Second Biennial Hand Conference 2025 of the Nepal Hand Surgery Society (NHSS) marked a truly historic milestone: the first-ever cadaveric hand workshop conducted under the NHSS banner at KIST Medical College and Teaching Hospital (KIST MCTH).
This landmark event was made possible through the collaborative efforts of NHSS, the Indian Society for Surgery of the Hand (ISSH), and the KIST Medical Education Department and Training Wing.
On behalf of NHSS, we express our heartfelt gratitude to:

- Prof. Dr. Suraj Bajracharya sir
- Prof. Dr. Pushpa Sharma sir
- Dr. Rosha Shrestha Maskey maam
- Akshay Gautam Sir
For their unwavering support in providing the venue, cadaveric specimens, and essential logistics needed to make this workshop a reality.A special thanks to Jyoti ji, Barsha ji, Bimal bhai, and Sushil dai for their tireless assistance behind the scenes. Your help was invaluable.
We are deeply grateful to all the esteemed Indian faculty, dedicated national faculty, and our enthusiastic participants for making this event a resounding success.
With houseful participation, we were truly overwhelmed by the interest and excitement: so much so that we had to close registration early and, with great regret, turn away several eager applicants.
To those we couldn’t accommodate this time, we sincerely apologize, and we hope to see you next time !!
